The Sahara and Sahel Observatory is taking part in the 28th Session of the UN Climate

The Sahara and Sahel Observatory is taking part in the 28th Session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2023 (COP 28) to be held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12, 2023. 
Three sideevents will be organized on this occasion, addressing issues relating to Climate Finance, Climate Change Adaptation and Advocacy to Decision-Makers : 

  1. “Climate Finance providing solutions for land and ecosystems in Africa”, in partnership with AFD | 4.12.23, 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m., Francophonie Pavilion  
  2. “From the project approach to the program approach, what advocacy strategies for decision-makers?”, in partenariat with AFD | 10.12.23, 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., Francophonie Pavilion 
  3. “From incubation to financing for adaptation: accelerating the development of water & climate projects” | 11.12.23, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., SE Room 5 

The OSS delegation will also take part in several side events organized by its partners. 

From December 4 to 6, Stand 17, Zone B6 will be the place to be to meet and discuss on the Organization's mission and areas of intervention.

B2B meetings will give room to innovative debates, encourage the exchange of ideas and develop concrete action plans.
