Support for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Degraded Soils in the North-West and Central-West of Tunisia

APRESOD is a project designed to assess the impact of Sustainable Land Management (SLM) on soil resilience across seven governorates in the North-West and Central-West regions of Tunisia. The initiative not only seeks to deepen the understanding of the effectiveness of adopted practices, but also to demonstrate their added value for ecosystem preservation and the safeguarding of local livelihoods.

Beyond this assessment, the project is committed to mobilizing and building the capacities of both national and local stakeholders. By promoting good adaptation practices and fostering access to climate finance, it provides actors with the tools needed to take sustainable action in the face of climate challenges.

In doing so, APRESOD establishes an integrated framework where soil protection and human capacity-building converge, paving the way for more resilient and equitable management of natural resources.
