Strengthening partnerships for sustainable resource and territorial management

Angola, April 13, 2026

The OSS Executive Secretary moved to Angola to reflect a strong commitment to consolidating strategic partnerships in support of community resilience.

Engagements with ADPP Angola provided valuable insights into the OSS operational approach and areas of intervention, highlighting the complementarity of field actions. Discussions also underscored the progress of the ADSWAC project, funded by the Adaptation Fund and implemented in Cubango and Cuando provinces, as well as the synergies to be strengthened with the Green Climate Fund–supported CREW Angola project.

These exchanges, enriched by meetings with national authorities, including the Secretary of State for the Environment and the Minister of Agriculture, translate a shared ambition to enhance impact in water management, sustainable agriculture, and food security.

In a context of increasing climate challenges, this mission comes to restate the commitment of the OSS and its partners to advancing concrete, community-centered solutions for lasting resilience.
