High-level meeting between OSS Executive Secretary and Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Restoration. November 2, 2023, Egypt.

During his meeting in #Cairo with H.E. Elsayed Elkosayar, Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Restoration and Chairman of the OSS Executive Board, Mr. Nabil Ben Khatra recalled the organization's main achievements and future milestones, such as participation in international events and the organization of a high-level conference in Tunis.

OSS's commitment to adapting to the effects of climate change was also highlighted, in particular through the process of submitting to the Adaptation Fund the project to improve livelihoods in Siwa oasis in Egypt.

The Minister expressed his appreciation of the results achieved, and recommended that the impact of the various initiatives be further exploited, and that high-level decision-makers take ownership of the tools and platforms produced, following the example of those set up as part of the GMES and Africa program.
